Sam Johns is a recent graduate of Manhattan School of Music and has been acting his entire life. He hails from Seattle, Washington and earned a name for himself there through local theater groups; he was one of the founding executive members of Black Tie Productions as an actor, set designer, and stage fight choreographer.
His roots lie in non-musical works, most recently as Dr. Carelli in Agatha Christie's Black Coffee, Jamie in William Nicholson's The Retreat from Moscow, and Cyril in Stephanie Kallos' Monarch's Row, (available to watch on Youtube), but is also known for his singing work in roles such as Jimmy Winters from Nice Work if You Can Get It, Morris Cohen in Fiorelo!, and most recently as the titular role of Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd.
Acting has, and always will be, his passion, and profession. He understands what will be asked of him and prides himself on his professionalism, his punctuality and his ability to have fun!
Outside of theater, he has a love for drawing, painting, going on long walks, and Dungeons and Dragons!
